Chanel Vintage Wallet on Chain (WOC). Crossbody Bag. Beige caviar leather, gold toned hardware. Stitched interlinking CC logo on front, pushbutton closure under flap. Zipped pocket on rear, leather entwined shoulder chain. Serial number 4472883. Bag produced 1997, same year as Wallet on Chain was introduced to the market.

Inside; Beige ribbed silk lining and tone-in-tone leather lining, no stains. Zipped pocket on inside flap (for LOVE letters), open pocket in front of central compartment. Zipped pocket plus one open pocket in front of central compartment, 6 credit card slots in ribbed silk fabric. Size W 19 x H 13 x D 4 cm, crossbody strap drop 63 cm. Authentication card and dustbag included.

Chanel Wallet on Chain crossbody bag in very good vintage condition. When introduced to the market the Wallet on Chain bag was designed as a hybrid between a wallet and a handbag – a functional accessory that was becoming sought after  in the late 1990s.
