Miu Miu

Miu Miu, was founded in 1993 as a more upbeat, playful and rebellious designer brand than “big sister” Prada’s more streamlined and minimalist design.
First Miu Miu store was in Via Della Spiga, Milan and Kate Moss was the highlight of the first runway show in 1995.

Miu Miu’s focus is on the woman, the company stopped producing men’s design in 2008.
Miu Miu is renowned for their matelassé leather bags and the ‘club bag’ was an instant hit for nights out and daywear.

The name Miu Miu originates from Miuccia Prada’s family nickname.
