was founded by Louis Vuitton in 1854 in Paris, France. 1858 Louis Vuitton introduced his flat-bottom, easily stored, trunks with trianon canvas making them lightweight and airtight.
Today the luxury bags can be found in four different materials; the most famous being the iconic Monogram, Epi, Damier and Vernis.

Classic models are the weekendbag Keepall that comes in four sizes, the Speedy designed on request from Katherine Hepburn and the Noé. Noé is the shoulder bag commissioned on request from a Champagne house to accommodate five bottles of champagne.

Today the brand Louis Vuitton is owned by conglomerate LVMH, who also own Céline, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Moët & Chandon Hennessy, Tiffany  among many other iconic designer brands.
