Fendi

Fendi was launched in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi. The husband-and-wife duo opened a fur and leather shop in Rome, Italy.

In 1946 five sisters from the second generation joined the company. Karl Lagerfeld joined Fendi in 1965 as Creative Director and Lagerfeld is behind the creation of the classic double FF Logo. Karl Lagerfeld remained at Fendi until his death in 2019.

Fendi is still run by the Fendi family, but since 2001, conglomerate LVMH Group assumes a majority control.
Fendi stands behind designer bags such as the Baguette, Peekaboo, DotCom and 2jour.
