Gucci is the latest designer brand to join the sustainability trend.
With Gucci Off The Grid, Gucci’s first ever Eco-friendly line the luxury brand joins Prada, Burberry and Stella McCartney in focusing on both social and environmental sustainability.
The Off The Grid collection is the first collection of the brand’s Circular Lines. It features bags, shoes and accessories produced with focus on the reuse of materials and textiles, all of which focus on minimizing the use of new resources and also wastes less.
Econyl is one of the main new materials used in the collection A regenerated nylon 100 % obtained from pre- and post-consumer waste like old fishing nets, carpets and other plastics, that tall have in common they harm marine life. So much better use of that waste in a super backpack or beltbag.
