The Gucci Flora is a pattern of flowers, insects and fruits in 37 different colours.

Iconic Gucci Flora scarf is a composition of insects, flowers and fruits in 37 different colours and is dedicated to the four seasons.

The Flora scarf made its debut in 1966. The story is that  Princess Grace Kelly rushed into a Gucci shop in search of a floral scarf as a wedding present for a friend. The house did not make any at the time. Rodolfo Gucci then went on to commission renowned illustrator Vittorio Accornero to design a sublime botanical in honor of Grace, who had then become Princess of Monaco.

In 2002 when Frida Gianni became Gucci’s head designer, she revived the pattern on bags, shoes, and dresses.

Gucci Flora scarf designades åt Princessan Grace av Monaco 1966. Motivet består av insekter, frukter och växter i 37 olika färger. 2002 fick det botaniska mönstret nytt liv på skor, kläder och väskor.
